The Platter and More Vacuum Chucky is available in 4", 6" and 8" diameter versions to accommodate your Platter or other vacuum/jam chucking requirements.

Platter and More Vacuum Chucky
Although it was designed for (and we recommend) use as a Vacuum Chuck
it can also be used as a jam chuck.
It cannot be used in a Scroll Chuck because there is no tenon.
IMPORTANT NOTE
A VACUUM Arbor and "Plug In Style" Vacuum Adapter (see link below for our version) is required for this product to be used to its full potential.
The Optional Chucky Vacuum Arbor is a "flow thru" 4" MT2 Arbor that allows the Vacuum to work and also gives ample room from the headstock to the workpiece.
You may use a MT2 Chucky Arbor if you already have one but it won't allow the vacuum to work.
THIS WOULD ONLY WORK If USING THE PLATTER and MORE VACUUM CHUCKY AS A JAM CHUCK.
Simply put - if you don't already own a Chucky Vacuum Arbor or "Plug In" Style Vacuum Adapter- ORDER ONE!
Now, to further confuse you - if you have a 3" Chucky Vacuum Arbor, you can use it; however you willhave 1" less distance from the headstock to the workpiece.
Available individually in three sizes 4", 6", and 8" diameter or a set of all three sizes.

The Platter and More Vacuum Chucky can be used in the following ways:
As a Vacuum Chuck (Vacuum Pump etc. not included)
As a Jam Chuck mounted in the headstock spindle with our optional 3 MT2 Chucky Arbor
With the Tailstock with the appropriate Live Center ~ click HERE (not included).
The Live Center must have a removable cone that exposes 3/4-10 threads
In order to mount the Platter and More Vacuum Chucky in your Headstock Spindle you must have either a Chucky Arbor or Chucky Vacuum Arbor.
If purchasing this product with a Vacuum Arbor it will come with a 4" Chucky MT2 Vacuum Arbor.
PLEASE NOTE
This This Arbor “can” be used for Jam Chucking but (if you don’t already have one ) we recommend purchasing the optional Chucky MT2 Arbor that allows you to use a Drawbar if necessary. It also has other uses and can be used with most of our products.

For vacuum chucking you will also need a vacuum supply and adapter to plug into your Headsrock Hand Wheel.
We offer said Vacuum Adapters ~ available for many lathes.
You may also find them available from other suppliers.
The Lamp Rod or Hose Style Vacuum set up
will not work with this product!!
Picture shows an O Ring on the arbor - it is not necessary and no longer included.
You must have a "Plug In" Style Vacuum Adapter if you wish to use this product for Vacuum Chucking.
