Chucky PVC Vacuum Kit

This kit includes an insert in which to glue your PVC coupling and attach a Chucky Vacuum Seal.  The kit simply threads onto your spindle.  The kit does NOT include the Vacuum Pump or any pump accessories.

The inserts have a threaded aluminum insert that is offered in the following spindle sizes  1-8, 1 1/4-8 and M33-3.5.

The kits are available for 3" and 4" PVC couplings which are also included.  You can also purchase seperately a 3" to 2" reducer and seal. Please Note:  In the near future we will also be offering reducers and seals for the 2" reducer that will enable a reduction in fractional increments down to 1/2".  For those that already made their own vacuum chuck we will also be offering seals.

We recommend to glue the coupling to the insert with CA glue; some of our testers have used a removable silicone caulking.  Other's have used a product called Goop™ which we understand also allows the coupling to be removed.  Some others report that no gluing is necessary.  However, please realize that this is YOUR CHOICE AND RESPONSIBILITY as to whether or not you glue the coupling to the insert.

Please keep in mind that the PVC couplings are larger than the stated sizes but are commonly referred to as indicated.

NOTE:  The COUPLING sizes are referred to as the ASTM Standard sizes for the appropriate pipe I.D. over which they fit when used in the plumbing industry.  

The 3" Chucky Vacuum Kit has an appoximate O.D. of 4" and the 4" Chucky Vacuum Kit has an approximate 5.125" O.D.  These dimensions do not include the thickness of the seal.
