The Original Rubber Chucky has a 3/4 – 10 threaded flange nut that fits the standard live centers that come with the One Way, Powermatic and some Jet lathes. The Outside Diameter is 4 1/4" that tapers about 2" (60°) down to a 2" diameter ~ dimensions are approximate.
The No-Nose Chucky allows you to mount an item with a flat surface from the inside or from the tenon side of the workpiece.
Of course, this is just one use for the No-Nose Chucky - let your imagination be your guide.
It is not necessary to have the OPTIONAL MT2 Arbor but it can be used for many other woodturning applications. If you already have one MT2 Adaptor that is all you need, (Hint: It comes standard with the Peppermill Chucky) and of course fits most Rubber Chucky products.
NOTE you must have a live center with a removable cone to mount to the tailstock.
Optional MT2 Adapter
Adapter has a 1/4" X 1" hole in the end to accomodate extensions, buffs, sanders etc. They are held in place by the 10-24 Set Screw.
