WOOD TURNING ACCESSORIES
History
The Original Rubber Chucky was conceived to be used with Hollow Forms; during the testing process we discovered many additional uses. We then proceded with developing additional woodturning accessories and will be bringing them to the marketplace in the near future.
The Original Rubber Chucky has a standard 3/4 - 10 threaded flange nut molded in the exact center of the tenon. This design allows the Original Rubber Chucky (and some of our other products) to be used with a spindle chuck, a live center mounted in a tailstock, or mounted in the spindle with our MT2 arbor either with or without a chuck.
These products have been tested on the OneWay™, Powermatic™, Jet™ and Nova™ live centers. The Nova Live Center requires a special arbor. All of the Original Rubber Chucky's include the MT2 arbor. If you have a Nova Live Center, please specify when you order. Additional arbors are available for a nominal cost.
Rubber Chucky Products can be used to help you turn any item you see fit and are designed to be used in conjunction with:
Headstock with a Chuck - Minimum opening of 2.5" (63.5mm)
Included MT2 Arbor (No Chuck Required)
Tailstock by removing the 3/4-10 threaded cone on a live center
